FPS drops mid-fight

Your game runs fine in the menu, then tanks the moment a smoke lands or a gunfight starts.

🔄

Copy-pasted launch options that do nothing

You grabbed 15 commands from a Reddit thread. Half are outdated. Nobody explains what they do.

💸

Thinking about new hardware

You're considering a new GPU when your current settings are leaving 80+ FPS on the table.

YouTube guides that miss the real stuff

Every video covers the same 3 settings. Nobody talks about BIOS, network adapters, or shader cache.

Every tweak that actually
moves the needle.

No filler. Each chapter covers a specific systemwhat to change, why it works, and exactly where to find it.

Went from 80 to 160 FPS on my old i5. The launch options and power plan alone made a massive difference. Wish I'd found this earlier.

The BIOS section is what did it for me. Stutters completely gone after enabling SVM Mode. Never seen this mentioned anywhere else.

I was about to buy a new GPU. Tried the guide first. Gained 70 FPS just from settings. Saved myself €300. Absolutely worth €4.00.

FAQ
No. Every step is written in plain language with exactly where to click. If you can open Windows Settings, you can follow this guide. The BIOS section includes brand-specific instructions for ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, and ASRock.
Most of the guide applies to all GPUsin-game settings, Windows tweaks, launch options, network, and BIOS are GPU-agnostic. The NVIDIA Control Panel chapter is NVIDIA-specific, but the rest of the guide alone is worth it for AMD users.

Depends on what "decent" means. If you're getting 200+ FPS with no drops, probably not. But if you're getting stutters, inconsistent frame times, or ping spikesthe network and BIOS chapters alone will likely help. Also, more stable FPS feels better even if the average is already high.
You get a PDF and a link to a Google Doc that's always up to date. The Google Doc version gets patched in real timeno re-downloading needed. You also get access to the FPS Lab Discord for personal help and questions.
